Clarissa Whitehorn is a Diligent Observer. She records tid-bits, doodles, observances, curiosities and epiphanies; anything that strikes her as interesting and unique, she notes, chronicles and later publishes on this medium. Raised in Chestnut Hill, Philadelphia, Miss Whitehorn spent four stupendously enjoyable years studying in the Royal Burgh of St Andrews, Kingdom of Fife, Scotland. The generous schedule of University life granted the Author numerous opportunities to set out across Europe and beyond to flâner and record her findings.
The Author spent a marvelous two years in London, a Land of infinite observances and endless curiosities, until the UK Border Agency deemed her a non-essential immigrant and declined to renew her visa. She returned to her homeland and relocated to New York City (not a bad place to which to be deported), another grand city with much to uncover and discover.
This particular Curious (perhaps in both senses?) Individual has just stumbled, through Serendipity, across your delightful blog and is very glad to have done so. Was once a student of medieval texts at St.Andrews myself…
And now?
I admit this short biography is a few months out of date. I was waiting for the wave of bitterness at my cruel rejection by the UK Border Agency to pass before writing the next chapter of my life. In time…
