Help a Brother Out?

27 July, 2010

a Weak, Ready-to-Tumble Old Arbor is supported by a felled, stripped, cut and processed distant relative.  There is a wonderful irony in this that the Author can’t quite express.

These two specimens of wood are a poor show when compared to the majestic wonders that our friend Kate encounters on a day to day basis.  Do that a peek at the Silver Birches, Douglas Firs and other such stunners–a Tuesday special at Dancing Beastie. By gum, it’s Tuesday now!  Well, stop looking at decrepit Budapestian hunks of lumber and enjoy the best that Scotland has to offer.

Thank you kindly, maam, for that generous plug. I relish the irony of this image, while being equally unable to articulate it. My humble apologies to you and your readers for failing *again* to manage a Tuesday tree last week: hope to do better in August.
