Four-Eyes Laid in Stone

13 July, 2010

On this Building full of faces (and in this City full of Building full of Faces), there is only one bespectacled individual.  She might look rather demure and homely if it weren’t for her wild head of hair.  Her companions on this Building are all of a more standard make, and she stands out wonderfully.

Odd. It looks like a building, or a model of a building, on the pediment above her head. And the glasses she is wearing are the same as those worn byan architec named le Corbusier. But he did a very different type of architecture than that building or the model above her head.

Well I’ll be…I hadn’t noticed the house/castle above her head; I was focusing too narrowly on her spectacles.

Don’t you reckon the building was constructed before le Corbusier was out and about? I’m not one to judge the age of building (I usually refer to you on that). I’d love it if this was some sort of Architect inside joke.
