Brains, Skulls and Glue Sticks

I admire not only fascinating artifacts of the Galerie de Paléontologie et d’Anatomie Comparée, but also the method of identification.  It’s awfully impressive that a simple application of super glue would last over 100 years (or almost last: see photo two).  I do pity the poor underlings who, circa 1900, had to cut up each individual slip of paper and carefully adhere them to hundreds of specimen.
